Being diagnosed with cancer at such a young age was extremely challenging for me and something that I do not feel that I would have been able to overcome if God had not blessed me with an angel here on earth that took care of me and became my caregiver, my mother.
Mom there aren’t enough words in the English dictionary to accurately express to you my immense gratitude and my overwhelming love for you. You were my Rock during the most intense, difficult times during my cancer battle journey. You saw me go through the high and lows of my cancer battle. You were a true treasure, who at times was my fellow warrior when things were hard, you were also like a soothing balm when there was increased pain and you were like a bright shining light when there was darkness surrounding me. In other words, you were my everything to me all the time.
Although, you are no longer physically with me, you will always mean the world to me as I know you are still watching over me. I was so fortunate to have had you as my mother. You always offered me excellent advice and kept me grounded. You were always there for me, no matter what, displaying your unconditional love to me. I continue to listen to your advice and use it today in my daily life. Thank you for always being you.
Love you always mom!!!
Shout out to all the caregivers in the world, you are true gems!!

Thank you so much for your continuous support. I truly appreciate it. I hadn’t written in some time because unfortunately my dad is going through several low points in his cancer battle. He has had several complications which in turn have caused setbacks in his progress. Only time will tell what the outcome will be.

I remember some years ago when I went through chemo. My late elderly mom climbed the stairs to 3 story walk-up just to come and wash my hair. Moms will go to the moon and back for their children. Praying for your continued healing.
