Live your best life?

Live your best life sounds good but what does it really mean? Well, for many people it may mean to live their life doing the things that make them happy. For example, some people might say that going camping, and spending time alone with nature is their bliss. Others might say that having an outing with close friends and family brings them joy. On the other hand, many might be happy just staying home listening to their favorite audio book immersing themselves into the world of that literary masterpiece. All these are good examples but some people might think that the happiness these activities bring is short lived. They might compare it to the effect achieved by eating their favorite sugary snack, the sugar rush is quick and exciting but unfortunately it fades just as fast as it started and then they are left feeling down. Many might think that the happiness produced came from outside stimuli and therefore, that feeling of unhappiness will eventually creep back in. There is a vast majority of reasons why this may happen to anyone at any time and there are several options to combat this feeling. Some of the many options include starting an exercise routine to improve mental and physical well-being, for example doing yoga or meditation.  Or going to counseling to try to figure out the root cause of issues, that cause for the happiness to be short-lived. Another option is the spiritual path to renew the trust, faith and strengthen the relationship with God.

Whatever the reason for unhappiness it all comes from within ourselves and until we find true inner peace with ourselves then we will truly feel happiness.

I totally agree. Lasting happiness stems from an inner peaceful place
