Notice the rich green heart-shaped leaves and then the cluster of flowers from pink to lilac.  Lilacs thrive in fertile, humus-rich , well-drained neutral to alkaline soil.

The smell of moist earth and lilacs hung in the air like wisps of the past and hints of the future.

      Hi Cindy yes I completely agree with you. Sandy deserves all the credit. She has a beautiful garden and always takes amazing pictures. That is why I decided to try to re-blog her post because they always inspire me. However, I am still learning to use WordPress so I hope I did the re-blogging right lol.
